Well here goes: I definitely had fun editing Lenny. I must admit it was tough trying to be different and creative with the exact cuts and the timing. After reading the script i took a sneak peek at others’ works. Almost everyone had similar Lenny montages. It was pretty interesting working my mind away…
…. How could i make the scene more tensed?
…. Should i zoom in to Lenny’s face and let Sharon’s voice be a voiceover
…. Insert or not to insert Lenny’s foot shaking? Or should i just use his clasped hands to show his excitement?
…. Should I have an ECU of Sharon waiting or a wide angle shot to frame Sharon at the edge of the landscape and then skip to a middle close up shot?
These were some of the thoughts and I guess overall I stuck to the script. Plain old jane me. haha. I guess as in film, there’s no definite answer or choice. Lenny 2 here I come!
