Writing a short film in a few easy steps:
Condensed form of writing – mostly like theatre (Conveying your message through visuals)
You need:
Characters (Their purpose and what they’re doing)
Film is made at the conjunction of story and character – what does your character does and what your story is… “ story is a chain of reactions to an unusual event” – Linda Aronson
Who has the main reaction? – your main character
What is the event? – What ignites your character’s reaction and does it propel the story. Link protagonist with drama/conflict element
